NEEDLES & NOTIONS
• US 9/5.5 mm 24”/60 cm circular needles
(or size needed to obtain gauge)
• Darning Needle
• Stitch Markers, 4 total:
3 locking stitch markers, and 1 unique for
beginning of round
• Row Counter (or scrap paper)
GAUGE
15 sts and 28 rows = 4”/10 cm,
worked flat in pattern after blocking.
Use a needle that produces a blocked fabric
with a look and drape that you are happy with.
Gauge is not crucial to this pattern, but keep in
mind that variance in gauge will also affect the
amount of yarn used as well as the overall size
of your cowl.
If using Superwash yarn, keep in mind that it
will grow with wet blocking!
